Your Next Hair Appointment At The Salon

One thing is for sure, we ALL want to get our hair done! But we need to be cautious for each other’s safety.

Being a hairstylist, my job certainly is changing in some ways, but mostly it is the same. We’ll see a little less of our faces due during our visits, but we can still talk!

I’m so excited to see everyone and so excited to catch up on your lives. I’ve missed everyone’s conversations the most these last countless weeks.

Also, I have scheduled extra time for all appointments, anticipating everyone’s overdue cuts and colors! This is your time to safely get out of the house and feel some semblance of normalcy!

Below is the new hairstylist guidelines that we must follow. Even if you have already had the virus, I ask you to please take the same precautions.

Protocol for next appointment

1. Clients will text me when you arrive for your appointment. Please wait in your car. You all have my cell number!
2. I will text/call you when to come up for your appointment. We want to avoid any unnecessary contact with other clients, as well as not exceeding out 10 person capacity in the salon.
3. If you would like coffee, water or tea, please bring YOUR OWN mug.
4. Bring your own reading material. We cannot provide them at this time.
5. We BOTH wear masks. If you do not have a mask, I will provide you with one.
6. I’ll ask you to please sanitize your hands once you arrive.
7. Each client will have a sanitized station, chair and all implements (shears, comb, clips, etc.) Each client will have a clean cape for their service. Nothing will be reused unless sanitizable.
8. We accept cash, check or credit card.

Side note about illnesses before you come for your appointment.

If you OR a member of your household is sick or has been sick in the last 2 weeks, please reschedule your appointment.

Remember, that I too have a family, a baby and elderly in-laws that I don’t want to put in danger.
